Map the work before the product
Write down how a customer enquiry becomes an order, how purchasing is approved and how transactions reach finance. Identify who owns each step and which reports they need. This gives the platform discussion a concrete basis.
Review what you already use
List the software, subscriptions, versions and integrations in place. A configuration change or a supported connection may address the problem without replacing every tool. Check the relevant product documentation for the edition under consideration.
Test a representative workflow
Use a realistic example with an exception: a return, partial payment or rejected approval. Define what successful handling looks like and which records the reviewer should see. Include reporting, migration and user training in the decision.
Agree a scope and total operating requirements
Compare the implementation effort, hosting arrangement, licensing, access responsibilities and ongoing support. These depend on the selected products and scope. A demonstration is useful when it answers your specific workflow questions.
